Six-years after the release of album, Amusement Park, which contained more of a “City Pop” sound, four piece band Ikkubaru now presents their sophomore album, Chords & Melodies; delivering more synth and dreamy vibes, without abandoning the previous red threads. Producer and songwriter, Iqbal M. tries to convey more of a contemplative and spiritual-driven work, as the album title Chords & Melodies resonates with Body & Soul. “Each cannot be separated, because we’re human”, explains Iqbal.
